Welcome to my website, Hartigan
Farriery Services would like to give you an introduction to the services
provided for all your equine needs. I am a fully qualified ( dipWCF ) and
fully insured farrier in the Essex area. I pride myself on giving a
reliable, punctual and polite service.
I offer mobile farriery services
including shoeing, trimming/trims, remedial work including copper sulphate
pads, barshoes, adhesive / glue on shoes, show plates, full sets, front
sets, half sets.
I work on vets recommendations and
also do Insurance work.
About Me
I have been qualified since 2006
having served four and a half years apprenticeship with a military trained
farrier.
I am DipWCF registered with the
Farriers Registration Council. I have worked with all kinds of horses
including racehorses owned and trained by world renowned jockey and now
trainer Walter Swinburn and currently look after horses for Andrew Reid
and Eddie Creighton.
Other clientele includes Essex Horse
and Pony Sanctuary, various riding schools and happy hackers all over
essex. I work with all breeds and all types of horse including Horses,
Ponies, Youngstock, Foals. Having learned
the anatomy during my apprenticeship i know my frog from my
hoof.
